Dye Paintball has had the fastest loader on the market in paintball with the Rotor, the R2 the newest version is no slouch in that department either. The R2 offers the speed and reliability of feed with some pretty amazing new features. Adjustable Ball Capacity

The R2 broke the mold with their new shell design. The original Rotor needed a completely new top shell if you wanted to expand the capacity above 200 balls. This is no longer the case with the Dye R2 loader. Being able to switch from 200 to 260 ball capacity on the go without the need of tools or other parts. The swap is achieved effortlessly and can even be accomplished during a game.  By using the switch located in the back of the hopper all the player needs to do is lift up on the top shell to expand the capacity to 260 paintballs. This feat is only accomplished by the Dye R2, a truly revolutionary innovation in capacity design.

Reload Alert System

We have all been playing paintball, shooting our guns and then it stops shooting making you realize that your loader is empty. That experience is a thing of the past with the new Reload Alert System on the Dye R2. The loader now warns you as you run low on paint helping you to remember to keep feeding your hopper so you can keep sending paintballs down field. Never mistakenly run out of paint again with the Dye R2 loader.

Patented Rotor Feed Technology

The Dye R2 uses the same Rotor Feed Technology of the original Rotor giving you an insane feed rate of over 30 balls per second.  That is not where it stops though the Dye R2 continues to give improvements. With changes made inside the hopper to the feeding system you receive the fastest feed rate possible while getting more reliability and confidence in your hopper. The new optimized gear box and Rotor drive system have cut down on size and increase performance by being softer on paint.

Active Power Conservation

With Active Power Conservation the hopper is able to monitor the motor's power consumption needs and adjust accordingly. What this means for you, the player, is an increase in battery life giving you one of the longest battery lives in a hopper in paintball.

Low Power Indicator

Ever been on the field and your hopper is not feeding because the batteries died? The Low Power Indicator gives you the warning that the batteries are getting low and starting to cause the loader to not work at optimal levels. Never again forget to replace your batteries in the loader.

Tool-less Disassembly

The Dye R2 boasts complete tool-less disassembly, being able to be taken apart quickly. The R2 uses a series of latches that need to be released to allow the hopper to be taken apart, these latches are easy to use making it effortless to take the R2 apart. Rapid Release Safeguard System

The Dye R2 uses the Rapid Release Safeguard System to remove the lid from the hopper. This new design on the lid has also led to an increase in the size of the feed mouth making sure your paintballs find their way into the hopper when you pod. The new lid is released with a button and just snaps into place. Switching from speed feed like the Dye R2 Quick Feed to the rain lid is a breeze and can be done on the fly. Great feature on a loader for sure, especially if it starts to rain out of nowhere.
